RW Ribbon Wire Bonding Wedge Tools
Ribbon wire bonding is commonly used for energy saving power management of power devices to become more efficient with higher current and lower resistance requirements. The ribbon wire bonding tools are designed similar to M series bonding tools except the wire feed hole has a horizontal slot, instead of a typical round hole. The slot size is configured depending on the size of the ribbon with thickness from .00025”/6.4µm to .0020”/51µm and width ranging from .0020”/51µm up to .0200”/508µm.
